This guide applies to Redhat, Fedora and other rpm based Linux systems. By disabling we mean to change SElinux to permissive mode
- Open terminal.
- Change to root user. This can be done by typing su , followed by root password.
- Check current mode by typing getenforce
- To change mode to permissive mode ( it will disable SElinux but log all alerts)
Type setenforcing 0
This change SElinux to permissive mode.
